Perhaps That Part of You Never Left... πΏπ
Iβm curious...
What did you love doing before life became so busy?
Not what you were good at.
Not what you did for work.
Not what everyone praised you for.
What made you lose track of time?
What made your eyes light up?
Maybe you loved writing.
Painting.
Photography.
Dancing.
Growing things in the garden.
Singing.
Making beautiful spaces.
Collecting shells.
Learning.
Creating.
Or perhaps...
it's something you've never even allowed yourself to explore.
I wonder if one of the greatest myths we've been taught is that if we don't use a gift for long enough...
we lose it.
I don't think that's true.
I think our gifts are incredibly patient.
They simply wait.
Waiting until life becomes a little quieter.
Waiting until we're brave enough to choose ourselves again.
Waiting until we're finally ready to ask...
"What would bring me alive?"
This month, the Goddess of Seaweed has been quietly dancing through my thoughts.
Seaweed spends so much of its life beneath the surface.
Growing.
Strengthening.
Becoming.
Completely unseen.
And yet...
just because something isn't visible...
doesn't mean it isn't growing.
I wonder if that's true for us too.
Maybe you haven't lost your creativity.
Maybe she's simply been waiting.
Maybe you haven't lost your confidence.
Maybe she's been quietly rebuilding beneath the surface.
Maybe you haven't missed your chance.
Maybe this is the season she finally rises.
I think women often believe they have to discover something completely new about themselves.
But perhaps...
the next chapter isn't about discovering.
Perhaps it's about remembering.
Remembering the woman you were before life became so noisy.
Before responsibilities filled every corner.
Before you convinced yourself there'd be time later.
And the beautiful thing about remembering...
is that nothing has to be forced.
You simply begin listening.
Following the little nudges.
Saying yes to the things that make your heart quietly expand.
One small moment at a time.
Because I have a feeling...
the life you're longing for isn't waiting somewhere out there.
It's already growing within you.
Just beneath the surface.
With oceans of love,

P.S. This week, instead of asking...
"What should I do next?"
Try asking...
"What part of me has been patiently waiting to be remembered?"
Then notice what quietly stirs.
Sometimes that's where your next chapter begins. πΏπ€
Love,
Nic xx
